Within days of their wedding, Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera were greeted by family and friends at their home with a traditional griha pravesh ceremony. It can be seen in a video posted on the internet that Karishma and Varun are welcomed into the house by Varun's mother.
Varun's mother greets Karishma at the front door of the house with an aarti before instructing her on how to enter the house. Karishma, dressed in a pink saree, enters the room, walking hand-in-hand with Varun, to a roar of applause and cheers from the other members of the family. Varun can be seen wearing a yellow kurta on the set.
In a picture taken during the ceremony, Karishma can be seen sharing a tender moment with her mother-in-law, who blesses her and hands over a gift to her during the ceremony. Karishma and Varun are seen in one of the photographs posing in their home, their eyes filled with love for one another.
On Saturday, Karishma and Varun Bangera exchanged vows in the city of Mumbai. Their intimate wedding was set against the backdrop of the sea and sunset. They were joined by several of their friends, including Terence Lewis, Ekta Kapoor, Anita Hassanandani, and Ridhima Pandit, who were all in attendance.
A pink lehenga with matching jewelry was worn by Karishma on this special day in her life. Varun, her husband, wore a white sherwani for the occasion. Several photographs and videos were taken at their wedding have surfaced on the internet. Varun appears to have applied sindoor on Karishma's forehead in one of the clips. The bride was also seen getting down on her knees and presenting Varun with a bouquet of flowers.
Karishma celebrated her wedding reception on Saturday evening, during which she was spotted dancing to the song Oo Antava from the film Pushpa: The Rise, which was performed by actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Harleen Sethi, who plays Karishma in the film, uploaded video snippets of her dancing to the song with a friend on her Instagram Stories.
