New Delhi, India: The makers of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', starring Kartik Aaryan, have set a new release date for the film. The movie will now be released on May 20.
The film's creators announced the revised release date on Instagram. They stated, "Sharing a poster of the film, "Make a note on your calendars! They're getting ready to reopen the doors of the Haveli in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', which will be released on May 20, 2022!"
'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' was originally set to hit theatres on March 25. The film's release date has been pushed back to March 25 to avoid a clash with filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus flick 'RRR.'
Kiara Advani and Tabu both appear in the film alongside Kartik. Anees Bazmee directed the film, which was written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. The film is a sequel to the Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan hit "Bhool Bhulaiyaa," which was released in 2007.
T-Series and Cine 1 Studios are producing 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar. Kartik Aaryan, who plays Akshay Kumar in the film, is expected to enchant the audience with his typical charisma as he re-vamps his part.
