While en route to Roorkee, Rishabh Pant sustained severe injuries when his automobile hit a divider near Manglaur.
Rishabh Pant, a star for Team India, was hurt after his automobile hit a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on Friday. Pant has been admitted to a hospital where he is reportedly receiving treatment for head, back, and foot injuries. His status is said to be stable. The automobile Pant was riding in was entirely burned out in the first photos taken at the scene of the accident. In another photo, the Indian batsman is shown with a bandage on his head and significant injuries to his back.
One of the team's core players, Pant had been a member of the India XI during the last Test it had played against Bangladesh; he had contributed a crucial 93-run innings in that game that helped the team's comeback in the match. The wicketkeeper-batter missed the ODI and T20I matches against Sri Lanka and would receive treatment at the NCA, according to a later report.
Dainik Jagran said that Pant's car collided with a railing and caught fire. When the residents and police arrived at the scene of the accident, a fire truck was needed to put out the flames. Before being transferred to another hospital in Dehradun, Pant was originally treated at the Saksham Hospital next to the highway. "When the automobile struck the divider on the Delhi-Narson border, he was operating the wheel. He was brought right away to Saksham Hospital but will be transferred to Max Hospital for additional care "said a source to PTI.Cricketer Rishabh Pant met with an accident on Delhi-Dehradun highway near Roorkee border, car catches fire.
