The villages surrounding Sinhagad road, Satara road, and Solapur road, which receive water from a pumping station at Vadgaon Budhruk, were severely impacted.

"All water pumping stations in the city have been shut down due to the power loss." Pumping stations were given priority as the restoration began, and water supply is gradually being restored," said Anirudh Pawaskar, in charge of the PMC water supply department.

Water supply has been totally cut off in areas served by the Vadgaon pumping station, which is still without power, according to Pawaskar.

Parts of the city that receive water from the Parvati, Pune Cantonment, Holkar, and Bhama Askhed dams are unaffected.

"There has been no water delivery from PMC since this morning due to the power outage," Chandrakant Gole, a resident of Manajinagar on Sinhagad Road, said. However, the water supply was restored for a few minutes before being cut off again. Officials from the PMC have been contacted, however, they have indicated their powerlessness in the matter."

Water is being delivered to the city's core area, according to Pawaskar. However, because electric motors could not be used, structures that lift water from underground to overhead tanks were harmed by the outage, he noted.

Meanwhile, the Ravet raw water pumping station and the Sector 23 Nigdi water treatment facility at PCMC lost electricity once more. "The power went off 15 minutes ago." As a result, the water supply has been disturbed once more. PCMC Joint City Engineer Pravin Ladkat remarked, "I don't think we'll be able to restore water service till late afternoon."
