Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter on Wednesday, before his speech at the convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, to solicit ideas for his upcoming speech. On the 28th of this month, I am looking forward to giving the keynote presentation at the convocation event at @IITKanpur. This is a thriving institution that has made significant contributions to science and innovation through its pioneering work. In a tweet, Prime Minister Modi stated, "I welcome everyone to submit suggestions."
Those who would like to make ideas can do so on Narendra Modi.in, Prime Minister Modi's personal web address. Entries will be accepted until December 27, which is one day before the event.
The Prime Minister's upcoming visit to Kanpur, which is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now in power, will include the inauguration of phase 1 of the Kanpur Metro system. The first phase covers a distance of nine kilometers.
The Kanpur tour will also be his final travel to Uttar Pradesh for the year, with several more slated for next January, as the state is expected to hold assembly elections in various phases throughout February and March.
Indeed, PM Modi has visited the country's most populous state on a number of occasions in recent months, with the majority of these visits taking place in December. On the 13th and 14th of December, he was in Varanasi, his parliamentary seat, where he dedicated the first phase of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, which runs across the city. The following day, on December 18, he traveled to Shahjahanpur, where he lay the cornerstone for the Ganga Expressway project.
He was in Prayagraj on December 21, and he will be back in Varanasi on December 23, according to his schedule.
