Hisar at 4.7° Celsius coldest place in Haryana and Punjab

On Tuesday, cold weather prevailed in several regions of Punjab and Haryana, with temperatures dropping below freezing.

According to the Hisar meteorological department's weather report, the city of Hisar in Haryana was stricken by extreme cold, with a minimum temperature of 4.7 degrees Celsius.

Rohtak, too, had a chilly night, with a low of 6 degrees Celsius, while Gurugram's minimum temperature was 6.9 degrees Celsius.

Sirsa had a low temperature of 6 degrees. Ambala, on the other hand, had a low temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius, which was above average.

Bathinda, in Punjab, suffered from extreme cold, with the lowest temperature of 5.4 degrees, and Amritsar, in Haryana, with a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees. Pathankot, like the rest of the country, had a chilly night, with a low of 5.7 degrees Celsius.

A low of 7.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jalandhar, while a low of 6.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Moga.

Chandigarh, the combined capital of the two states, reported a low temperature of 8.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
