On Tuesday, cold weather prevailed in several regions of Punjab and Haryana, with temperatures dropping below freezing.
According to the Hisar meteorological department's weather report, the city of Hisar in Haryana was stricken by extreme cold, with a minimum temperature of 4.7 degrees Celsius.
Rohtak, too, had a chilly night, with a low of 6 degrees Celsius, while Gurugram's minimum temperature was 6.9 degrees Celsius.
Sirsa had a low temperature of 6 degrees. Ambala, on the other hand, had a low temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius, which was above average.
