Serendipity 3, an upscale restaurant in New York, holds the Guinness World Record for the most expensive French fries. The world's most expensive French fries are shown in a video released on Instagram by the official Guinness Book World Records page, and they cost $200.
So far, the video has received 2.56 lakh views. In the video, LA Beast, a competitive eater and YouTuber, eats French fries at the fancy Serendipity restaurant, where the meal is billed as 'Crème dela Crème Pommes Frites.'
The world's most costly French fries are made with ingredients flown in from all around the world, according to the video's narration. The Guinness World Records caption listed all of the dish's ingredients, which included vintage 2006 Dom Perignon Champagne, J. LeBlanc French Champagne, pure cage-free goose fat from France, and a 23k edible gold dust topping, among others.

After watching the video, an Instagram user had a question. "Could I shatter the record if I just went to a random shop, bought some frozen ones, and said I'm now selling them for a million?" he asked.
The user received a "no!" response from Guinness World Records. "Putting edible gold on anything and making it the "most costly" is a really straightforward way to follow," another user noted. "I'll stick to Wendy's fries," a third replied.
