Following the success of Maharani, Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is working on a number of new projects. Mithya, Valimai, Double XL, and others are among them. Valimai, Huma's film alongside Ajith Kumar, is set to be released on February 24, 2022. Huma Qureshi sat down for an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in ahead of the premiere of her film, in which she discussed working with Ajith, her future projects, and more.
AJITH IS A HARDWORKING AND THOROUGH GENTLEMAN: HUMA
In Valimai, Huma and Ajith share screen time, and she had a great time working with the Tamil actor. Huma described Ajith as a meticulous gentleman "It was incredible. He is a true gentleman and a major celebrity. He's a terrific individual to work with, in my opinion. He is a really democratic and hardworking individual. Anyone can provide suggestions, and he is receptive to them. It's been a genuine pleasure getting to know him and spending time with him. I believe he taught me a lot."
IT WASN'T HARD TO PLAY A HINDI PROFESSOR IN MITHYA: HUMA
Aside from Valimai, Huma also said that she will be playing Juhi, a Hindi literature professor, in Rohan Sippy's next film Mithya.
When asked if playing a Hindi literature professor was challenging, Huma responded, "It wasn't difficult to play a Hindi professor. My Hindi is excellent. As a result, I had no issues. Plus, I'd done a fair amount of theatre Hindi before, so that helped. But every response is always in the script for me. A good script will provide you with everything you need to create a fascinating character in an intriguing setting."
CO-STAR MITHYA AVANTIKA DID A BRILLIANT JOB: HUMA
Avantika Dassani, daughter of actress Bhagyashree, makes her acting debut in Mithya. When asked about her experience working with Avantika, Huma stated, "We had a great time. She's beautiful and a lot of fun. We had a lot of fun working together. We were always there for one another. She did an amazing job, and I can't wait for everyone to see how talented she is."
