The weariness, nausea, and headache that accompany a hangover may not leave your side for the rest of the day if you wake up with one. However, just as you can avoid having your day spoiled by a hangover, you can avoid having a long day by getting up earlier in the morning.

Morning tips to boost productivity

Here are some morning activities that can help you boost productivity:

  1. Star early, start right: As they say - "Early to bed, early to rise. Makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise." Waking up early can be challenging however, once you get the hang of it, it can help improve your mental and physical health significantly. Waking up early will not just leave you with more hours for your daily tasks, but it will also aid in carrying out tasks at your own pace.
  2. Prepare and prioritize: Make a list of tasks that you wish to accomplish throughout the day. Then prioritize them based on their importance of deadlines. Use this list to map out the day's routine and adjust the tasks in the same. Doing this as a part of your daily morning routine can help you start your day productive and well planned.
  3. Social media can wait: Many of us have a habit of checking our phones first thing in the morning. But is the habit of browsing social media as soon as one wakes up healthy? Absolutely not! Apart from hurting our eyes, this habit can also hurt our morning productivity and therefore must be avoided.
  4. Be consistent: Productivity cannot be achieved without a level of consistency. When your body knows when to do something, the ability of what to do eventually comes along with it. Therefore, do not let your body get confused, and make sure that you maintain a consistent wake-up routine.
  5. Eat up: Make sure that your body is ready to face the challenges of the day by filling up on a nutrient-rich breakfast. A meal that is often skipped by people, breakfast holds immense significance as it provides the body with the energy to get through the day.
